Responsibilities
Conduct analytical testing on products using calibrated instruments. This includes measuring parameters such as salt content, Brix (sugar content), viscosity, Bostwick consistency, acidity, and pH levels.
Perform quality checks throughout the production process, including verifying product weight, checking for leaks, monitoring temperatures, reviewing labels for accuracy, and conducting metal detector checks.
Monitor and record cooler and freezer temperatures to ensure products are stored under optimal conditions.
Collaborate with various departments to maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow.
Document and report all test results and quality issues in a clear and timely manner.

Required (Must-Haves)
A post-secondary diploma or degree in any discipline.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with inter-departmental teams.
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)
A post-secondary diploma or degree in food science or a related field.
Previous work experience in the food manufacturing sector.
Prior experience in a quality control role.
