At our facility in Tacoma you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Packaging team as the Quality Coodinator :
Conduct daily floor walks to engage with employees, address quality concerns, and gather real-time feedback.
Track and analyze rework, non-conformances, startup rolls, and ensure the accuracy of material testing and documentation.
Participate in daily and weekly team meetings, providing updates on quality issues, ongoing projects, and key performance metrics.
Maintain and update quality systems, including Quality Inspection Monitoring (QIM), Safe Quality Food (SQF) calendar, document management systems, and test logs.
Monitor and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen projects, root cause analysis (RCA) plans, Performex pillar tasks, and the implementation of corrective actions.
Prepare and submit monthly reports, review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), collect R&D samples, and assist in coordinating machine meeting inputs.
Conduct and support audits, including SQF, HACCP and 6S audits, as well as manage cleaning schedules and pest control reviews.
Engage in long-term planning and assessments, including participation in continuous improvement (CI) meetings, risk assessments, certifications, and goal-setting activities.

You too, put forward your strengths:
3–5 years of experience in quality assurance, including auditing processes and a strong understanding of industry regulations
Proven experience with HACCP and SQF standards
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial technology, other related degree or related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification (preferred)
Strong leadership and coaching skills with a respectful and adaptable approach
Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive, autonomous work ethic
Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving ability and a continuous improvement mindset
