Job Description:
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of automated testing solutions across web and mobile platforms. Using a stack centered on Java, Selenium, and Appium, you will apply software engineering best practices to drive automation adoption throughout the SDLC. You will act as a technical bridge between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring that both retail and commercial digital products are delivered with world-class stability.

Responsibilities
- Framework Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Appium.
- Mobile Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts for native mobile applications and web apps using Android and iOS emulators.
- API & Backend Testing: Create and maintain API test scripts using Postman for RESTful web services.
- CI/CD Integration: Manage version control (Git) and integrate testing suites into automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Test Data Management: Automate the management of complex test data for lease and retail contract booking.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in all Agile ceremonies, providing technical insights to product owners and business stakeholders.
- Environment Management: Oversee QA environment setup, monitoring, and release management to ensure deployment readiness.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of expertise in managing automation test projects; 5+ years of hands-on experience with Appium, Selenium, and Java.
- Mobile Expertise: Direct technical experience with Mobile Native Applications and emulator-based testing.
- Technical Stack: Proficient in BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin), TestNG, and Postman.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading teams within an onshore/offshore delivery model.
- Methodology: Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum and a track record of building "Sanity" and "Regression" packs from the ground up.
- Communication: Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business users.
