Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Performing detailed in-process and final inspections on manufactured products, including springs, stampings, and wire forms, to ensure they conform to precise specifications.
Reading and interpreting complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents to fully understand product requirements and quality standards.
Utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments, such as verniers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators, to verify product dimensions and tolerances.
Diligently monitoring production processes in real-time to identify any deviations from established procedures that could impact quality.
Collaborating proactively with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues, providing clear feedback and recommending adjustments to machine settings or processes.
Identifying, documenting, and managing non-conforming products and materials, ensuring they are properly segregated and dispositioned according to company protocols.
