Our large, stable client in Whitby is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their busy team. This great employer will provide all the training required for you to excel in a QC role, as long as you have some experience working in an industrial manufacturing or construction setting.
This is a temporary to permanent position, which means you could be hired permanently after proving yourself. Straight Day shift and Rate of pay starts at $26 per hour.

-Lifting up to 50lbs (you are encouraged to ask a co-worker for help with lifting test blocks to lighten the lifting requirements)
-Working as an integral part of the production line
-Any other duties as required by management
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
-Experience in a shop or manufacturing environment (specifically in an industrial manufacturing or construction capacity is an asset)
-Used hand and power tools in the past
-Any experience in a quality control capacity as an asset
-Excellent eye for detail
-No problem working in hot and dirty environments
-An excellent work ethic and attendance record at previous jobs
-The ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance)
