Responsibilities
- Navigate narrow aisles and high-bay racking with precision using reach forklifts to move and store inventory safely.
- Conduct daily equipment checks on reach trucks, ensuring all safety controls and hydraulic lifting systems are fully operational.
- Efficiently transfer goods between receiving docks, racking systems, and production lines using both equipment and manual lifting.
- Ensure line-clearance and accuracy by cross-referencing incoming/outgoing loads and staging materials right when they’re needed.
- Promote a culture of safety by maintaining clean aisles, watching for overhead hazards, and adhering to strict warehouse guidelines.
- Flexibility to jump in where needed to keep overall warehouse and logistics operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience on the reach forklift.
- Valid forklift license is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
