In this Manufacturing & Logistics role, you will be a vital part of the production flow. The Reach Truck Operator is responsible for moving materials through narrow aisles and ensuring that the manufacturing team has the supplies they need exactly when they need them. Responsibilities
• Operate a Reach Truck safely and efficiently within a fast-paced furniture manufacturing facility.
• Navigate a Reach Truck through narrow aisleways while maintaining high safety standards.
• Transport raw materials and finished furniture products to designated areas for Manufacturing & Logistics efficiency.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of components to the assembly line.
• Maintain a high level of awareness regarding pedestrian foot traffic to prevent accidents.
• Perform daily safety inspections on the Reach Truck and report any mechanical issues.
• Assist with manual material handling and warehouse organization as required by the Manufacturing & Logistics team.
• Adhere to all CSA safety regulations, including the consistent use of safety footwear.
Qualifications
• Must possess a valid external Reach Truck license/certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Reach Truck Operator.
• Experience working in a production or furniture manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to pass a forklift evaluation test and a brief interview.
• Mandatory possession of CSA-approved safety shoes.
• Commitment to the Manufacturing & Logistics safety culture and "safety first" mindset.
