Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment: Safely and accurately operate Reach Trucks and Order Pickers to navigate narrow aisles and achieve a picking target of 45+ tires per hour.
Material Handling: Manually lift, move, stack, and stage tires across various heights throughout the warehouse.
Safety & Equipment Care: Maintain an accident-free environment, adhere strictly to WHMIS guidelines, and ensure safe operation of material handling equipment at all times.
Inventory & Quality: Verify orders against manifest details to ensure correct shipments with zero discrepancies.
Team Communication: Collaborate closely with warehouse leadership to hit daily volume goals.
Qualifications
Certification / Experience: Valid or recently expired Reach Truck and Order Picker license (must have actively operated within the last 6 months).
Tire Industry Experience: Prior experience handling or picking tires is strongly preferred.
Comfort at Heights: Must be comfortable working on elevated platforms and order picker equipment.
Physical & Commute Readiness: Highly dependable with strong physical stamina. If using public transit, must be prepared for a 30-minute walk from the nearest bus stop.
Safety & Standards: Valid WHMIS certification, strong common sense, and a clean safety track record with zero accidents.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication (5/5 rating).
