Responsibilities
Financial Recordkeeping - Full Cycle
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (Netsuite)
Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments
Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts regularly
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
Issue customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables
Track and manage aging reports
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Experience in Real Estate Bookkeeping is a plus
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
Minimum 2–3 years of proven bookkeeping experience
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar
Familiarity with payroll systems and basic tax filing requirements (e.g., GST/HST, WCB, etc.)
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
