Receptionist- Hamilton Downtown
Looking for a professional, tactful Receptionist for our accountant firm!
This is a 2 month temporary assignment with a possibility of further extension. We are looking for a highly motivated and professional person to be the welcoming face of an accounting office.

-$20-$22 an hour
-Full Time 35 hours a week Monday - Friday
-Flexible hours either 8:30-4:30 or 9:00am-5:00pm with an hour unpaid lunch
-Start date March 23rd
-Public Transit accessible/free parking around the corner
Responsibilities
-maintain professionalism within the office
- Receptionist duties - first point of contact, answering phones, greeting walk-in clients
-Direct incoming calls
-Book appointments for consultation and counselling sessions;
-Photocopy, email, and scan documents; and
-Save emails and correspondence to paperless file software.
Qualifications
- Enjoys working in a corporate office setting
- Approachable and accommodating to walk-in traffic
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Polite and enthusiastic attitude
- Requires Business / Professional attire, no jeans or logos
-Accurate and pays attention to detail
-Strong organizational and time-management skills.
-Secondary school diploma and/or post secondary education in a related field;
-A minimum of 1-2 years of reception experience within a professional office setting;
-Experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook);
-Experience with Ascend software would be considered an asset.
-Must pass a Criminal background check and Credit check
