Position: Receptionist
Location: Mississauga (City Centre)
Job Type: Full Time, Contract
Department: Administrative Services
Salary: $22/hr + 4% vacation
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
Start Date: July 2025

Responsibilities
● Greet in-person visitors, answer telephone calls, schedule appointments, and calendar management
● Operate telephone calls
● Perform administrative tasks according to the needs of the team (manage agendas, mail management, process invoices, handle cheques)
● Open and prepare documents in small batches for scanning
● Observe the volume of mail received and determine the type of mail that needs to be scanned first
● Scan the prepared specific insurance documents to appropriate queues
● Process internal and outgoing mail
● Maintain a record and progress Registered letters
● Assist with mailroom organization and scanning
● Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
● At least 1 year of experience as a Receptionist or Client Services
● Strong technical skills (Microsoft Office) and excellent attention to detail
● Ability to handle multiline telephone system
● Customer service oriented, friendly, good communication skills
● Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
