Your primary focus will be full-cycle recruitment for entry-level branch positions (Customer Experience Associates) across the Kingston to Ottawa region. Over time, based on performance and business needs, your portfolio may expand to include more complex Personal Banking roles.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment demanding an individual who can navigate a complex corporate landscape, ramp up quickly with minimal hand-holding, and deliver a premium experience for both hiring managers and candidates.
Position Title: Recruiter
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 1–2 days per week at the Downtown Toronto office; occasional attendance at GTA recruitment events)
Duration: 1-Year Contract (07/06/2026 to 07/05/2027) with potential for extension or permanent conversion
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime possible)
Hourly Rate: $41.75/hr

Responsibilities
As a full-cycle Talent Advisor, your day-to-day will split between active recruiting operations and strategic stakeholder alignment (including team meetings, 1-on-1s, and manager syncs).
Full-Cycle Execution: Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle including conducting intake meetings, opening requisitions, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, facilitating background checks, and extending offers.
Portfolio Management: Independently manage a high-volume portfolio of approximately 20–30 active requisitions at any given time.
Agile Delivery: Maintain an aggressive 5–10 day time-to-hire while adhering to operational metrics, SLAs, and compliance frameworks.
Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to regional Hiring Managers, providing insights on market trends, talent gaps, and sourcing strategies.
Pipeline Building: Proactively build talent communities and passive pipelines ahead of open requisitions, leveraging internet, intranet, social media, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Events & Tracking: Support occasional regional hiring events and community recruitment initiatives; extensively utilize advanced Excel tracking to monitor recruitment metrics, performance, and escalations.
Qualifications
Must-Have Hard Skills & Experience
Overall Experience: 5–7 years of professional Talent Acquisition experience (3–4 years may be considered if gained within a highly complex enterprise environment).
High-Volume & Full-Cycle Recruitment: Demonstrated success managing high-volume portfolios within a fast-paced, process-driven corporate or large-agency environment.
Enterprise Background: Experience recruiting for well-known corporate entities (e.g., Tier-1 banking/financial services, Amazon, or similar enterprise-scale organizations).
Systems Proficiency: 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Workday Recruit and advanced MS Excel skills for data tracking and reporting.
Education: Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
Soft Skills & Core Competencies
Resourcefulness & Adaptability: A self-starter mentality with the ability to ramp up swiftly, navigate ambiguity, and operate independently without hand-holding.
Relationship Management: Strong consultative skills to partner with multiple Hiring Managers up to senior management layers.
