We're searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Contract Recruiter to join one of our leading clients in the light industrial sector, based in beautiful Pictou County. This is your chance to make a significant impact by finding the right people for the right roles.
As our Contract Recruiter, you'll be instrumental in attracting, screening, and onboarding top talent for our light industrial client. You'll strategically manage candidate pipelines, build strong relationships, and implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet hiring goals. Ultimately, you'll be a key player in ensuring business efficiency by connecting the right people with the right opportunities.

Responsibilities
As recruiter you will :
• Be on a daily basis attract, screen, interview, and assess talent
• Execute on-boarding of new talent
• Manage candidate database effectively and continuously maintain candidate ‘pool’ for frequent roles through various internal & external sources
• Building and maintaining a strong professional working relationship with candidates
• Design, implement, and coordinate recruitment activities and strategies
• Utilize social media or other platforms to enhance the company’s digital footprint and to promote company values
• Actively keeping track of all sourcing activities and ensure business efficiency
Qualifications
You should have :
• Previous recruitment experience an asset
• Must have demonstrated success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a proven ability in time management, multitasking and prioritization.
• Must be comfortable navigating various technological applications
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Team orientation
• Proactive and strong sense of urgency
• Goal oriented and driven to achieve targets
• Excellent interpersonal skills
