Location: Maple Ridge, BC
Permanent Position
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shifts: 8:00AM–4:15PM
Wage: $35.00 to $40.00/ Hr.
You have Steel Toe Boots
Previous MIG welding or fabrication in a fast-paced, shop setting required
Red Seal certification is required for this position
You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia

Responsibilities
Weld components to meet company and CWB quality standards using SolidWorks drawings
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for dimensional requirements
Tack and weld parts, ensuring alignment and concentricity
Clean and inspect welds
Complete and pass a CWB wire-feed welding (MIG) test
Measure finished parts using precision tools to confirm tolerances and record results
Report issues or defects to Supervisor or Team Leader
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspace following 5S principles
Operate overhead gantry and jib cranes safely (training provided)
Support plant safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives
Qualifications
Interprovincial Red Seal Certification (Welder or Fabricator) – required
High School Diploma – required
Previous experience in MIG welding and/or fabrication in a fast-paced shop environment
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Able to work with minimal supervision on advanced fabrication tasks
Basic to advanced math skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good verbal and written communication skills
“Whatever it takes” attitude and team-oriented mindset
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Comfortable working in a manufacturing/fabrication shop environment
Operation of overhead gantry and jib cranes
Able to work planned and occasional incidental overtime
Standing, bending, and physical activity required throughout shift
Employee Core Competencies
Safe operation of equipment (training provided)
Organized and efficient with tools and setups
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Maintains a clean and safe work area
Demonstrates initiative and reliability
