Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the refrigeration plant.
- Maintain and operate ammonia refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Assist with repairs and maintenance of refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns related to utilities to minimize production impact.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of equipment and infrastructure to ensure proper operations.
- Monitor and maintain water treatment for cooling towers, ensuring compliance with TSSA regulations.

Qualifications
- Class “B” Refrigeration Operator certification
- Possess experience working within a TSSA-regulated ammonia facility
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Ammonia Refrigeration Systems.
- Have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility, with food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work weekends as required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to read and write English
