Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Specialty Setting - Saskatoon, SK - Healthcare
Perform technician-driven prescription checks, verifications, billing, and order filling.
Communicate directly with physicians, specialty program coordinators, and insurers to secure coverage and resolve complex billing issues.
Interact virtually with patients and healthcare providers over phone and email to coordinate specialty care and offer guidance on specialty medical devices (such as subcutaneous biologics).
Manage weekly inventory activities, including counting stock, receiving orders, and upholding strict Cold Chain storage standards.
Complete and log necessary documentation according to standard operating procedures, including incident reports, adverse event reports, and post-infusion feedback.
Stay up to date on new pharmacy protocols, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate closely with internal pharmacy team members, nursing partners, and external stakeholders to deliver exemplary patient care.

Active registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in good standing.
Post-secondary pharmacy technician education or equivalent recognized certification.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for professional telephone and email interactions.
Proven problem-solving ability, high attention to detail, and strong organization skills.
Ability to work autonomously on site while supporting a broader collaborative team.
