Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician – Sterile Compounding (Full-Time, Permanent) - Calgary - Healthcare

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Prepare sterile compounds (no narcotics) in a cleanroom environment

✔ Perform order verification, decontamination, labeling, and data entry

✔ Follow sterile procedures meticulously using full PPE (provided)

✔ Support inventory levels in cleanroom and staging areas

✔ Mix cleaning and stock solutions using precise measurements

✔ Conduct in-process inspections and final QA documentation

✔ Assist with equipment cleaning and upkeep in accordance with SOPs

✔ Occasionally support communication and documentation tasks

✔ Maintain compliance with all internal and regulatory safety standards


Qualifications

Who You Are:

✔ A Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the ACP (Alberta College of Pharmacy)

✔ Passionate about sterile compounding or eager to learn — training provided

✔ Comfortable with repetitive tasks, detailed work, and standing for extended periods

✔ Able to work in a scent-free, jewelry-free, and cosmetic-free environment (PPE required)

✔ Open to team collaboration and flexible to pitch in as needed

✔ Excellent at time management, following procedures, and working in a fast-paced setting

✔ Backgrounds in hospital, international healthcare, or recent graduates are all welcome
