We are currently connecting with registered pharmacy technicians in the North area of Edmonton to support one of our community pharmacy partners in the Northeast Edmonton Region. As a vital member of this incredible healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families.
You will work in a community setting that offers a Pharmacist-Led clinic, dispensary and an amazing OTC section.
Shifts will be fairly scheduled between team members and run (Monday to Friday only) either 10am - 6pm, 11am - 7pm or 12 noon - 8pm - leaving your mornings open for heading to the gym, taking care of getting the kiddos to school, or getting other errands done before heading to work with a great team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Full Time - Edmonton, AB (Northeast) - Healthcare
✔ Verify the accuracy of prepared medications by reviewing each prescription, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and maintaining product quality (blister packed medications, other compliance packages, and other prescription items)
✔ Implement necessary corrections when discrepancies are discovered
✔ Ensure products are checked methodically and efficiently to maintain workflow and ensure that deliveries depart on schedule
✔ Protect patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with regulatory requirements
✔ Stay updated on and adhere to legal requirements, professional standards, and workplace policies and procedures where applicable
✔ Foster a workplace environment that values inclusiveness and belonging
✔ Support assistants with duties and help them learn and grow within their scope!
Qualifications

✔ Licensed Registered pharmacy technician in the province of Alberta
✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
