We are presently looking to network with licensed Pharmacy Technicians in the North Edmonton area to place with one of our esteemed community pharmacy partners in the Northeast Edmonton region. As a vital part of an exceptional healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local patients and families.
You will join a community-centric setting that boasts a Pharmacist-Led clinic, a fully stocked dispensary, and an extensive over-the-counter (OTC) department.
Shifts are shared fairly across the team and run exclusively from Monday to Friday, featuring hours such as 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, or 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM. This structure provides free mornings, ideal for workouts, school drop-offs, or handling personal errands before starting your day with a supportive group of healthcare colleagues.

✔ Validate the accuracy of dispensed medications by reviewing prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and preserving product integrity (including blister packs, compliance packaging, and other prescription items).
✔ Initiate necessary corrections when discrepancies are detected.
✔ Ensure systematic and timely product inspections to keep workflow moving and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
✔ Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality in adherence to regulatory frameworks.
✔ Keep up-to-date with and follow legal obligations, professional standards, and applicable internal policies.
✔ Promote a professional environment that values inclusivity and creates a sense of belonging.
✔ Help support staff with their tasks and encourage their learning and growth within their positions.
