In this strategic Scaled Agile role, you will act as a pivotal Release Train Engineer (RTE), facilitating Program Increment (PI) planning sessions, managing critical workstream interdependencies, and clearing delivery blockers within a regulated technology ecosystem. You will partner closely with product leadership, system architects, and delivery squads to define features, track performance metrics, and foster a culture of continuous delivery. Duration: 12-Month Contract (with high potential for extension)

Responsibilities
Program Increment (PI) Planning & Train Facilitation
PI Session Leadership: Facilitate end-to-end Program Increment (PI) planning sessions, aligning team objectives, release roadmaps, and delivery commitments with the overall organizational vision.
Interdependency & Flow Management: Monitor progress across distributed squads to maintain timeline adherence, track critical paths, and resolve complex interdependencies across the release train.
Blocker & Risk Resolution: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks, impediments, and technical blockers affecting release schedules or product quality.
Stakeholder Alignment & Performance Optimization
Product & Engineering Alignment: Partner with product management, enterprise architecture, and business stakeholders to prioritize features, capability enablers, and upcoming release scopes.
Metrics & Reporting: Generate, analyze, and communicate key velocity and quality metrics to track release train health, optimize continuous delivery pipelines, and drive process improvements.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Foster open communication and continuous improvement practices across all participating teams within the agile release train.
Qualifications
Agile Release Train Leadership: 2+ years of dedicated experience operating as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Release Train Strategist within a Scaled Agile environment.
Regulatory Domain Experience: 2+ years of experience delivering technology projects subject to strict regulatory, compliance, or governance oversight.
End-to-End Program Management: 10+ years of progressive Project/Program Management experience overseeing end-to-end technology delivery.
Scaled Agile & Tooling Fluency: Hands-on mastery of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices alongside direct experience utilizing Jira for backlog, increment, and dependency tracking.
Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; outstanding stakeholder management capabilities; highly adaptable self-starter with strong time and priority management discipline.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Previous technology delivery experience within a Tier-1 Banking, Wealth Management, or Financial Institution setting.
Functional financial acumen and project budget tracking experience.
Active SAFe Certification (e.g., SAFe RTE, SPC, or SASM).
