Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Site Leader, the successful candidate will own the implementation of all maintenance, automation, and engineering strategies. You will be the architect of asset reliability, ensuring that site objectives are met through modern manufacturing principles and a culture of continuous improvement.
Core Mandate
Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute maintenance strategies aligned with Operations Excellence System (OES) principles.
Financial Stewardship: Direct the annual budgets for reliability, automation, and engineering departments.
Operational Engineering: Lead industrial engineering efforts, including labor standards, mass balance assessments, and process simulations.
Capital Management: Coordinate and execute site capital projects focused on equipment reliability and modern automation.
Compliance & Safety: Implement change control and management processes that satisfy regulatory, food safety, and purchasing requirements.
Qualifications
Our client is seeking a seasoned leader who possesses a blend of technical mastery and people-centric management.
Required Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
Leadership: Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance reliability leadership role.
Industry Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically within food processing.
Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of reliability engineering, automation systems, and Lean Manufacturing. SAP
Soft Skills: Proven ability to build high-performing teams through performance management and professional development.
