Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
•Analytics, Data & Insights: Analyze complex, high-volume datasets; develop data models and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other analytics tools; and synthesize information into clear insights and compelling visual stories for senior leaders and stakeholders.
•Business & Technical Translation: Gather and translate business needs into clear data, reporting, and analytics requirements, working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams to deliver practical solutions.
•Business Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze reporting and business processes, identify gaps and root causes, and recommend improvements that strengthen reporting outcomes and business processes.
•Reporting Coordination & Delivery: Facilitate reporting packages and reporting cycles, coordinating inputs, analysis, QA/QC, and stakeholder reviews to ensure accurate and timely delivery of NCTL internal and external commitments.
•Stakeholder Engagement: Build effective relationships with project teams, business SMEs, Technology teams, and other stakeholders to understand priorities, gather requirements, resolve issues, and drive outcomes.
•Problem Solving & Adaptability: Apply sound judgment to complex and ambiguous problems, proactively address challenges, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Qualifications
Must Haves
•Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and translating business needs into reporting and analytics solutions.
•Experience coordinating reporting cycles and delivering accurate, timely executive reporting packages.
•Demonstrated process improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
•Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
•Knowledge of reporting governance, data quality management, and QA/QC practices.
•Experience supporting senior leadership reporting, KPI development, scorecards, and executive presentations.
•Advanced Power BI and Excel skills with experience analysing datasets, developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Nice to Haves
•Experience with Tableau, SQL, and other advanced analytics or reporting tools.
•Portfolio, PMO, project, or performance reporting experience in a large, complex organization.
•Utility, infrastructure, public sector, or regulated industry experience, along with exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery environments.
