Responsibilities
Manage the indirect procurement process for all vendors supporting the Canadian retail business, including purchase order creation and invoice processing
Oversee business license management for US and Canadian stores, including renewals and compliance coordination
Source, maintain, and manage store supply budgets and inventory levels to ensure cost-effective and timely replenishment across Canadian locations
Collaborate with the U.S. Retail Operations Specialist to ensure process alignment across borders, driving consistency in procurement and vendor management
Support regulatory compliance efforts and maintain accurate documentation for licenses and vendor activities
Serve as a liaison between the Canadian retail operations team and various internal stakeholders, ensuring operational needs are met efficiently
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in retail operations, procurement, or vendor management
Experience in a multi-location retail environment is preferred
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
Solid understanding of accounting, budgeting, and vendor lifecycle management
High attention to detail, with a process improvement mindset
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Experience managing regulatory and business licensing processes
Proficient in procurement and invoicing systems such as Oracle, SAP, Coupa, or similar
Advanced Excel skills for budgeting, tracking, and reporting
Familiarity with supply chain practices and vendor performance monitoring
Experience with workflow/task management tools (e.g. Asana, Jira, Smartsheet)
