Our client, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Roll Coat Assistant to join their finishing team. This role supports the efficient operation of the roll coat finishing process, ensuring consistent quality and contributing to a smooth production flow.

Responsibilities
* Load and unload wood components onto the roll coat machine conveyor system.
* Stage materials for finishing, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
* Assist the Roll Coat Operator in the setup and operation of the roll coat machine.
* Monitor the finishing process, observing for any inconsistencies or defects.
* Inspect finished pieces for quality, ensuring proper coverage and a uniform finish.
* Identify and report any defects to the Roll Coat Operator.
* Clean and maintain the roll coat machine and surrounding work area, including rollers, trays, and other equipment.
* Assist with other finishing-related tasks as needed, such as sanding, masking, or packaging
Qualifications
Prior experience in a woodworking or manufacturing environment is preferred, but not essential.
Basic understanding of finishing processes and techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
