Responsibilities
• Work with project teams to develop integration in or outbound interfaces between Oracle recruitment system and Peoplesoft to meet business needs and priorities.
• Analyze business needs in relation to Human Resources clients' programs and service delivery requirements.
• Provide clients with business systems consulting expertise on the use of information technology, such as PeopleSoft, to meet business goals and objectives.
• Recommend systems development solutions and configuration which meet clients' needs.
• Provide technical expertise and advice in complex systems analysis and design.
Qualifications
Must haves:
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM operating systems, delivered application functionality , configurations and packaged application integration, focus on modules Workforce Administration and Position management as well as Benefit and payroll
• In-depth knowledge and experience of PeopleSoft system development and tools including App Engine, SQRs , PS tools etc , working experience with Fluid an asset , Ability to develop new systems or systems modifications and evaluate and recommend acquisition of applications , experience to develop Linux script an asset
• Knowledge of Oracle database management systems and application database administration
• Experience of unit test, supporting system integration and user acceptance testing from technical perspectives , Technical spec, walkthrough unit test results with testers and clients
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills; organizational, creativity and perseverance skills; verbal and written communication skills; and interpersonal skills , team player to work effectively with colleagues and clients
Desirable Skills:
• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications.
• Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
• Experience with middleware and gateways.
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, and debugging.
• Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues.
• Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team.
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
• Ability to provide user and system documentation as required.
