This position will be reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, assisting with training, assigning, scheduling, and communicating job expectations.Position: Warehouse Lead / Supervisor Location: BurnabyShift: Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 4:15 pmAdvantages-Free parking around the location-Dynamic working environment with opportunities for growth -Weekly paycheques-Basic Health Benefits-$200 every two years for steel toe allwoance-RRSP Matching-2 week vacation for the first year and 3 week vacation for the second year-Great working environmentResponsibilities-Working alongside the warehouse team, performing, and supervising receiving, packing, and shipping activities by maintaining a high degree of visibility, safety, and access to employees daily.-Lead by example and train, motivate, and coach the employees.-Maintain a working knowledge of all warehouse operations for multiple business entities-Resolve warehouse-related issues with representatives from other departments throughout the company.-Review, prioritize and organize both incoming and outgoing orders.-Monitor performance and productivity to maximize operational excellence.-Coordinate with the warehouse supervisor to manage personnel issues and requests.-Assist warehouse supervisor with development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures by identifying areas of improvement.-Ensure that all established policies and procedures are followed by the warehouse team.-Schedule equipment maintenance as required.-Responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating, facilitating, and managing all aspects of physical inventory and storage area.-Assign workloads to employees including training and cross-training of warehouse staff.-Oversee warehouse maintenance and condition.-Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are followed-Help with ISO compliance-Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications-Familiar with ERP systems – comfortable working with computers-Experience with Warehouse Management systems preferred-Preferred experience in an ISO environment-Past experience working with freight carriers-Experienced Forklift operator-Excellent written and oral skills-5+ years working in a warehouse environment-2+ years leading in a warehouse environmentSummaryThree easy ways to apply:1.
