Whether you are walking a warehouse floor with a Maintenance Manager or presenting a ROI-focused proposal to a CFO, your ability to communicate value is paramount. Responsibilities
• Proactively hunt for and secure new business opportunities within the industrial and retail sectors across the GTA West territory.
• Conduct technical site assessments to design custom storage and racking solutions tailored to specific client operational needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial cold calling and lead generation to closing the deal and overseeing the final installation.
• Partner with Business Owners, Maintenance Managers, and C-suite executives to deliver consultative sales presentations.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and installation crews to ensure projects are completed on time and according to technical specifications.
• Maintain and grow a dedicated account base, performing regular check-ins to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
• Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage the pipeline, and provide accurate forecasting to the Sales Manager.
• Attend weekly strategy meetings at the Oakville head office to collaborate with the engineering and operations teams.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technical advancements in racking systems to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
• 2–3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within industrial, construction, or technical sales environments.
• Residing within the GTA West / Halton region (Oakville, Burlington, Milton) for optimal territory coverage.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for daily travel to client sites.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a long-cycle sales process involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in technical solution selling or selling "projects" rather than just "products."
• Ability to pass a background check as required by the client's safety and security protocols.
