What You’ll Do
Clean and sanitize production equipment and facility surfaces according to schedule
Handle cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively
Perform repetitive heavy lifting, bending, and physical tasks
Operate Walkie (forklift) when needed (you won’t be on it the entire shift)
Work independently and stay on schedule through the night
What You Need
Valid Walkie Forklift License (Required)
Comfortable with physical work and heavy general labour
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow cleaning protocols
Prior experience in industrial or food facility sanitation is a plus

Responsibilities
Major tasks and duties:
• Responsible to clean Dry Blend rooms as per schedule – Dry/ Wet cleaning; may require use of lift equipment to
reach ceilings and rafters
• Responsible to clean shipping, warehouse and production areas, including floors, shipping docks and racking
based on cleaning schedule.
• Responsible to clean Liquid tank farm areas based on cleaning schedule; must be trained on confined space entry.
• Utilize the specified cleaning chemicals and equipment (ie.high-pressure sprayers) in a safe manner to clean the
tanks, equipment and facility; must follow dilution requirements and wear the personal protective equipment as
required
• Dispose of waste including used box totes when returned; proper disposal of cardboard, tote bag and skids
• Must clean large mobile waste bins and prepare so that production employees are able to use the following shift
• Have facility organized and cleaned everyday so that it is audit ready each day and so that production and
warehouse employees can be begin their daily work in a safe environment(ie. No slip hazards – floors are free
from sitting water)
• To ensure safe and appropriate use of all manual and powered lift equipment.
• To perform detailed and deep cleaning whenever required.
• To attend any required training necessary for the job (confined space entry, fall arrest)
• Complete all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, GMP’s and HACCP requirements.
Qualifications
Must have previous experience in a similar role
Comfortable with lifting heavy weights and performing repetitive tasks
Valid Walkie license required
Lots of bending over and pouring water
- You will be exposed to lots of cleaning chemicals
- Must be ok with getting exposed to dust
