Location: Annacis Island, BC
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (Sun & Mon OFF)
Shifts: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
Hourly Wage: $24.72 + $1.50 night shift premium
Advantages
$26.22/hr ($24.72 + $1.50 night shift premium)
Option of 4% Vacation Pay added or banked

Responsibilities
Performing daily sanitation duties and following preventative sanitation program
Disassembling production machines for thorough cleaning and reassembling them
Participating in regular safety and quality inspections
Working closely with production and maintenance teams to coordinate cleaning tasks
Assisting with in-house pest control and coordinating with contractors
Preparing the bakery for important visits and audits
Helping with occasional non-sanitation tasks like moving trays or assisting on the production line in emergencies
Reporting any equipment issues promptly
Maintaining an organized sanitation storage area
Strictly following all food processing safety guidelines (GMP's).
Working collaboratively with teammates
Qualifications
Previous sanitation experience in food production or manufacturing
The ability to follow directions and work instructions accurately
Comfort with repetitive motions, including bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, squatting, and lifting, on a daily basis
The ability to work at heights (e.g., on ladders)
The physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
Steel-toed shoes (required for safety)
The ability to meet the schedule and shift requirements.
Eligable to work in Canada

This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you'll be exposed to:
Typical bakery elements like noise, dust, and fumes
Varying temperatures, including hot and cold, and humidity
Working around mechanical equipment, forklifts
