As an SAP Ariba specialist, you will integrate with the sustainment team and collaborate directly with P2P teams, SuccessFactors specialists, and external system integrators. Operating within a hybrid work model in Toronto, you will lead the end-to-end implementation of Delegation of Commitment Authority (DOCA) workflows—defining multi-approver structures, establishing financial controls and segregation of duties, updating process documentation, and executing rigorous integration and regression testing. This position demands a seasoned SAP authority who can align complex business processes with SAP Activate/PMBOK methodologies and drive seamless procurement transformations.

Responsibilities
Design, configure, and optimize SAP S/4HANA Flexible Workflows and SAP Ariba modules to enforce Delegation of Commitment Authority (DOCA) requirements.
Develop detailed functional specifications for custom development objects and integration points across S/4HANA, Ariba, and SuccessFactors platforms.
Utilize HR Mini Master data structures to build and manage complex, dynamic workflow approval hierarchies.
Author and update comprehensive business process designs, policy guidelines, and configuration documentation for newly implemented functionality.
Design, execute, and document complete testing strategies, including unit, functional, integration, system, and regression testing scenarios.
Collaborate with P2P, Finance, Procurement, and System Integrator teams to validate proposed SAP functionality against organizational policies and best practices.
Formulate robust risk mitigation strategies, issue logs, and key decision documents to guide leadership decision-making.
Develop customized reports to meet enterprise reporting requirements and support auditing and compliance functions.
Produce updated training materials, communication artifacts, and sustainment models to facilitate organizational change management.
Provide functional leadership, subject matter expertise, and technical guidance across procurement business processes, system enhancements, and data structures.
Qualifications
Core Technical & SAP Expertise
Program/Project Management Tenure: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in large project/program management across large public or private sector organizations.
End-to-End Implementation Record: Proven track record of delivering at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations.
SAP Certification: Official SAP Certification in Sourcing and Procurement.
Hands-on Configuration: Proven expertise in hands-on configuration of SAP Ariba and S/4HANA.
Complex Workflow & HR Integration: Demonstrated experience implementing complex, multi-level workflows with dynamic approval tiers, leveraging HR Mini Master data.
Cross-Module Integration: In-depth knowledge of integration points across SAP Ariba, S/4HANA, ECC, and SuccessFactors.
Testing & Solution Manager: Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test execution frameworks, and working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager Change Requests.
Methodology Alignment: Deep familiarity with SAP Activate and/or PMBOK project delivery methodologies (PMP designation is a strong asset).
