Following the successful implementation of a new SAP Ariba Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform, our client is seeking a Procurement Operations Lead to drive the next phase of their digital transformation. In this post-rollout leadership role, you will take ownership of the system’s performance, focusing on stabilizing workflows, optimizing user adoption, and refining operational processes for long-term excellence. Acting as the strategic bridge between procurement, finance, and the wider business, you will ensure the P2P environment continues to evolve in alignment with our client's high-growth objectives in the premium retail space.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with hands-on procurement operations experience and strong project management capabilities, particularly within direct-to-consumer (DTC) environments.

Responsibilities
•Optimizing Post-Implementation Performance: Oversee the stabilized SAP Ariba P2P platform to ensure all post-rollout milestones and operational deliverables continue to meet business standards
•Strategic Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between procurement, finance, and operations, translating existing system capabilities into enhanced financial outcomes and streamlined workflows
•Sustaining Change Management: Lead ongoing engagement efforts to deepen user adoption and ensure the platform remains integrated into the daily culture across all departments
•Advanced Training & Support: Facilitate continuous system training and provide expert hands-on support to maintain high levels of user proficiency and confidence
•Process Refinement & Best Practices: Provide strategic input into the evolution of procurement workflows, defining and refining process best practices to ensure long-term scalability
•Risk Mitigation & System Auditing: Proactively identify operational obstacles or system gaps, working to mitigate risks and improve P2P efficiency
•Stakeholder Communication: Manage ongoing communication efforts to keep leadership and end-users informed of system updates, performance metrics, and strategic alignments.
Qualifications
•3 to 5 years of experience in procurement operations, systems management, or post-implementation project leadership
•Proven success in managing or optimizing enterprise system performance, with a strong preference for candidates who have supported SAP Ariba or similar P2P platforms
•Clear, confident communicator with experience engaging multiple stakeholder groups
•Strong problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset
•Able to balance autonomous work with strong collaboration
•Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay workflows and procurement processes
•Expertise in retail or DTC environments, with an understanding of the unique agility and scalability required in the premium apparel sector
•Ariba Experience in Procurement (or relevant P2P systems Coupa, Jagger, Zycus, Ivalua, GEP)
