Responsibilities
- Triage support tickets, troubleshoot system behaviors, and identify root causes to provide timely defect resolution.
- Perform hands-on configuration within the S/4HANA environment to meet evolving business needs and functional requirements.
- Develop detailed functional specifications for development objects and collaborate with technical teams on enhancements.
- Review and update test scripts, identify required test data, and lead test execution, including the development of regression testing plans.
- Maintain and update business process documentation and contribute to the creation of updated training materials and internal communications.
- Partner with process leads and vendors to inform design decisions and ensure seamless integration across the landscape.
- Analyze end-to-end workflows to identify areas for improvement, leveraging standard SAP functionality to drive efficiency.
- Provide functional expertise in accounting principles and system controls to mitigate risk and ensure governance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale project environments within government jurisdictions or large private sector organizations.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules, specifically General Ledger (GL), Controlling (CO), Funds Management (FM), and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Proven experience delivering at least two end-to-end implementations; Public Sector experience is highly preferred.
- Official SAP Certification in FI-CO.
- Extensive experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative methods, as well as associated project management tools.
- Strong command of test methodologies and familiarity with SAP Solution Manager Change Request.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
