The SAP S/4 Functional Lead will be a key contributor to a significant business transformation project. You will play a crucial role in the hypercare period and the transition to ongoing operational support, with a primary focus on the Record to Report process. You will collaborate closely with business teams and Business Process Leads to execute tasks and ensure a smooth transition.

Responsibilities
- Provide SAP expertise and leadership to the Record to Report team.
- Analyze processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions using standard SAP functionality.
- Offer support during the hypercare period, including troubleshooting, issue identification, and defect resolution.
- Identify and define linkages to other critical processes to support reporting.
- Collaborate with Business Process Leads and vendor leads to inform the design, development, and configuration of the SAP solution.
- Support the prioritization and implementation of post-go-live items, including testing, defect resolution, and risk mitigation.
- Actively participate in all project phases and work streams, including planning, change management, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
- Help validate proposed functionality and alignment to design, providing best practice leadership.
- Provide leadership on business processes, accounting principles, systems configuration, enhancements, and data management.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10+ years of hands-on experience in large project/program management, preferably within government or large private sector organizations.
- Extensive expertise in SAP S/4HANA modules, including SAP Finance, Controlling, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Systems, and Funds Management. SAP Certification (FI-CO) is a definite asset.
- Demonstrated experience in providing support during the hypercare period and transitioning to sustainment.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution during the post-go-live phase.
- Expertise in S/4 HANA module configuration.
- Experience delivering at least two end-to-end implementations. Implementation within a public sector environment with S/4HANA is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and innovative project management processes (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative).
- Solid understanding of test methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager Change Request is an asset.
- Ability to thrive in a transformative program and support the team during peak workloads.
- Excellent process management and control skills to minimize risk.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
