As an SAP Security Consultant, you will bridge the gap between complex enterprise access management requirements, SAP cloud technology solutions, and regulatory compliance standards. Operating within a hybrid work model, you will lead security role design across SAP S/4HANA environments, manage Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) frameworks, configure Identity & Access Management (IAM) cloud services, and secure Business Technology Platform (BTP) applications. Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage secure role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks across SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and non-SAP environments.
Configure and maintain SAP Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) modules to enforce segregation of duties (SoD) policies and regulatory standards.
Implement and manage SAP Cloud Identity Services, including Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Access Governance (IAG), and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
Secure SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integrations, APIs, services, and SaaS application environments.
Perform risk assessments, security role remediation, and audit trail reviews across cloud and hybrid SAP infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with business leads, IT architects, and project teams to elicit access control requirements and translate them into secure technical designs.
Support system integrations and identity provisioning workflows between core SAP solutions and enterprise identity providers.
Prepare comprehensive security design documentation, role build guides, compliance reports, and standard operating procedures.
Provide ongoing operational support, role maintenance, defect troubleshooting, and user access management for production environments.
Qualifications
Core Technical & SAP Security Requirements
SAP S/4HANA Security: Proven hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining authorization concepts and security roles within SAP S/4HANA environments.
SAP GRC Expertise: Demonstrated experience configuring and managing SAP Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) for access risk analysis, emergency access management, and compliance enforcement.
Identity & Access Management (IAS/IAG/IPS): Direct technical experience implementing and configuring SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Access Governance (IAG), and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
BTP & SaaS Security: Proven experience securing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments and SaaS cloud solutions.
Hybrid Security Architecture: Solid knowledge of security protocols, SSO authentication flows, and identity integration strategies between on-premises and cloud systems.
Soft Skills & Professional Attributes
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex security and compliance concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and consultative skills to engage effectively across cross-functional project teams and leadership.
