Responsibilities
• Review and provide input during requirements and design sessions
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts
• Gather and manage test data and ensure proper test coverage
• Log test results and analyze discrepancies or execution errors
• Conduct REST API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Track testing metrics and support defect lifecycle management
• Collaborate closely with project teams using JIRA and Azure DevOps
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications:
• 5 years of experience in a minimum combined total of relevant education and experience in a role similar to this. Experience must be applicable to this role. Acceptable education includes degrees, diplomas and certificates.
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by working as a software tester in a software application development environment (details/description of development environment must be included).
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by writing test cases from design documents, business processes, architecture diagrams and non-functional requirements.
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by preparing test data, executing tests and verifying results and logging issues.
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by an understanding of Software QA, Testing and Defect Life Cycle.
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by testing in integrated environments (details/description of integrated environment must be included).
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by performing integrations testing.
• 5 years of experience demonstrated by testing REST APIs via Postman or similar tools.
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by testing SAP applications and SAP interfaces.
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by working in JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by working in JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• 3 years of experience assisting in reviewing, evaluating and providing test input during business requirements gathering and detailed design specifications.
Desirable Qualifications:
• 4 years of experience with smoke testing, unit testing, system testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing.
• 3 years of experience demonstrated by testing web applications.
• 4 years of experience developing API test scripts in Postman.
• 3 years of experience with data integrity standards.
• 3 years of experience with SQL scripting and MS SQL Server.
• 2 years of experience with Agile methodology.
