Responsibilities
• Operate a scissor lift safely to assist with high-level shelf demerchandising and remerchandising.
• Assist skilled tradespeople with the removal and replacement of steel racking and structural components.
• Use basic hand and power tools to assemble or disassemble commercial shelving units.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure the safety of all personnel on-site.
• Follow strict safety protocols regarding fall protection and elevated platform operation.
• Communicate effectively with the site supervisor to ensure project timelines are met.
• Perform general labour tasks such as moving materials and tidying the facility floor.
• Ensure all equipment is inspected and documented before use each shift.
Qualifications
• Valid certification and proven experience as a Scissor Lift Operator.
• Proficiency in using basic tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, drills).
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, and lift for the duration of the shift.
• Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination for maneuvering in tight spaces.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following complex instructions.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
