Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and development of enterprise architecture for application, technology, security, and information domains.
- Governance & Compliance: Develop architecture governance artifacts, including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA/RMR), and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) mitigations for sensitive data.
- Solution Design: Design Microsoft Power Platform solutions using Model-Driven Applications, Power Automate, and Azure Cloud Services (Blob Storage, Entra ID, and Databricks).
- Data Strategy: Implement Medallion Architecture and ensure data retention and record-keeping requirements are met through detailed metadata management.
- Interoperability: Utilize FHIR standards, including Restful APIs and SMART on FHIR, to facilitate secure data exchange.
- DevOps & Quality: Collaborate with DevOps engineers to implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, influence testing strategies, and perform peer reviews to ensure high-quality product lifecycles.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Consult with diverse internal and external stakeholders to drive consensus, present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and align architecture with business needs.
- Standards Advocacy: Promote industry standards, including AODA compliance, and recommend improvements to reference architectures and design patterns.
Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years of experience working with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as Zachman and TOGAF.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience with the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Ecosystem (Azure AD, DevOps, Storage).
- Specialized Knowledge: Deep understanding of FHIR servers and APIs, as well as Medallion Architecture principles.
- Security & Integration: Strong knowledge of integration architecture, including OAuth, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access.
- Methodology: Extensive experience working within Agile frameworks and Test-Driven Development (TDD) environments.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
