Responsibilities
âą Architect, design, and deliver scalable application frameworks with a focus on asset management systems
âą Define software structure, logical components, interfaces, and reusable modules
âą Lead enterprise architecture development, including ADRs and system documentation
âą Monitor distributed systems and define component interactions
âą Integrate applications with middleware, databases, and gateways
âą Apply structured methodologies in application design and implementation
âą Ensure performance optimization and quality metrics across application layers
âą Create models, metadata structures, and documentation based on enterprise architecture principles
âą Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure timely project delivery
Qualifications
Must Have:
âą 10+ years of experience in:
âą Application architecture for large-scale solutions including ERP, LMS, and integration platforms
âą Developing enterprise architecture deliverables (models, documentation, ADRs)
âą 7+ years of experience with enterprise asset management systems, especially Maximo
âą Strong understanding of multi-tier infrastructure design, workflow systems, and middleware
âą Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
âą Track record of timely delivery in collaborative settings
Nice to Have:
âą Public sector experience
âą Familiarity with Ontario Government EA methodologies and practices
âą Awareness of emerging trends in Information & IT architecture
