Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define a clear roadmap for continuous improvement, including the rollout of IBM MAS to new units like Water Metering and Field Innovation.
- Solution Architecture: Lead the full lifecycle design and implementation of IBM MAS SaaS solutions, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems like SAP S/4HANA, Kronos, and M5 Fleet Management.
- Reliability Engineering: Incorporate asset management best practices into Maximo configurations to enable advanced analytical methods, failure investigation, and maintenance optimization.
- Process Design: Conduct "as-is" and "to-be" process mapping using BPMN standards; evaluate workflows, roles, and integration strategies to bridge functional gaps.
- Module Implementation: Oversee the deployment of IBM MAS modules and add-ons, including Graphical Scheduler, Condition Monitoring (SCADA integration), and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
- Mobile & GIS Integration: Deploy and manage offline mobile solutions integrated with Work Management Systems, specifically utilizing geospatial and field technologies.
- Procurement & Business Case: Develop procurement strategies (RFP approach), business cases, and cost-benefit analyses for each component of the proposed roadmap.
Qualifications
- IBM Maximo Mastery: 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, supported by an accredited certification. Direct experience with MAS version 8+ (SaaS) is a significant asset.
- Work Management Expertise: 10+ years implementing Work Management/EAM/CMMS systems, specifically for large-scale integrated solutions (asset management, reliability engineering, and plant maintenance).
- Roadmap & Strategy: 5+ years of experience delivering technical strategy frameworks, design decision documents, and high-level roadmap documentation.
- Technical Breadth: 5+ years implementing specific IBM MAS modules (Material Management, Graphical Scheduler, etc.) and integrating them with SCADA or other IoT systems.
- Mobile/GIS: Extensive experience with offline mobile solutions and GIS-based platforms (e.g., Trimble Unity).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred Experience: Knowledge of Water Utilities, Water Meter/Billing systems, and PMP certification are highly desirable.
