Responsibilities
Mobile Architecture & Development: Lead the delivery of native (Swift, Java) and hybrid (React Native, TypeScript) applications. Architect high-performance, multithreaded apps that leverage hardware-level security like Secure Enclave, TEE, and Strongbox.
Digital Trust & Credentials: Architect solutions based on W3C Verifiable Credentials, mDOC (ISO/IEC 18013-5), and Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs). Implement cryptographic protocols including OpenID4VC/VP, OAuth2, and JWS/JOSE.
Secure Wallet Integration: Oversee the integration of digital passes and credentials into Apple and Google Wallets, as well as the development of custom digital credential wallets.
Security & Compliance: Apply OS-level security guidelines and secure coding practices. Ensure compliance with global identity frameworks such as PCTF, NIST, and eIDAS (ARF).
Backend & Cloud Integration: Oversee mobile integration with RESTful APIs and event-driven systems within cloud-native environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Technical Leadership: Lead Agile teams through sprint planning and backlog refinement. Mentor developers and establish robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality standards.
Lifecycle Management: Manage the full publication lifecycle for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including ongoing patching and vulnerability remediation.
Qualifications
Mobile Leadership: 8+ years leading design/development of enterprise iOS/Android apps. Expert knowledge of React Native, Swift, and Java.
Security Expertise: Hands-on experience with hardware-backed keystores (Secure Enclave/TEE) and mobile OS security patterns.
Digital Identity Specialist: Deep knowledge of W3C VC, DIDs, and mDOC. Proficiency in cryptographic libraries and protocols (ECDSA P-256, Ed25519, CBOR/COSE).
Backend Integration: Strong experience with Java, Node.js, or Python backends and cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes).
Agile & Mentorship: Proven track record of leading Agile teams and mentoring junior-to-intermediate developers.
