The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality, risk-based audit services across a variety of projects, including key risk audits, financial controls testing, and emerging risk assessments. This role works closely with senior leadership and plays a key part in strengthening risk management practices across the organization.

Responsibilities
•Assist in the planning and execution of audit projects in alignment with internal audit standards
•Conduct interviews with business unit management to assess risk areas and controls
•Develop and support audit programs to evaluate key risks and processes
•Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify gaps
•Prepare audit reports, including executive summaries, findings, and actionable recommendations
•Present audit findings to stakeholders and support resolution of identified issues
•Track and follow up on outstanding audit issues until closure
•Provide support for external audit requirements and deliverables
•Collaborate with internal teams and senior managers to ensure timely and quality audit delivery
Qualifications
•University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
•Professional designation required: CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, or CIA
•3–5 years of experience in internal or external auditing, preferably within banking or financial services
•Strong understanding of audit methodologies, risk management frameworks, and control environments
•Knowledge of banking operations is a strong asset
•Proven ability to analyze business processes and provide practical, value-added recommendations
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently at all levels
•Experience in planning and executing audit projects and developing audit programs
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•Strong documentation and reporting skills
•Presentation skills are considered an asset
