Responsibilities
- Collaborate extensively with corporate finance teams (Financial Reporting, FP&A, Fixed Assets, etc.) to define and document business/technical processes and requirements.
- Identify problem areas, scope development, and look for significant process improvement opportunities within Corporate Finance functions.
- Provide expert technical support to users across all divisions during day-to-day business activities using the JDE system.
- Act as the liaison between the corporate finance teams and the IT department to support enhancement requests and troubleshooting, including interface issues to JDE.
- Lead the data cleaning initiative within JDE and provide dedicated support to the Project team for the upcoming ERP transition.
Qualifications
- Accounting degree (Bachelor's minimum) is preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience (Business Analyst or Finance Systems roles an asset)
- Extensive knowledge of JDE Finance modules and their integrations with other systems is required, particularly General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
- Intermediate to advanced skill level with Excel and MS Visio. Knowledge of other ERP systems (e.g., SAP, PDI, Concur) or other JDE modules (Sales, Procurement, Inventory) is an asset.
- Experience in retail, commercial, or supply chain operations is considered an asset.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and excellent analytical skills with the initiative to solve problems.
- Above-average written and verbal communication skills and a strong ability to work individually and as part of a team under pressure to meet deadlines.
