Our client is looking for a Business Analyst for a contract position of 10 months with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite) in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities
âą Lead and conduct business analysis to assess needs and recommend solutions
âą Gather, document, and validate technical business requirements
âą Create context diagrams, use case models, system diagrams, and integration specs
âą Translate functional requirements into technical frameworks for custom systems
âą Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and business process reengineering
âą Support project lifecycle including feasibility studies and business case development
âą Ensure alignment with accessibility standards (AODA/WCAG)
âą Create process maps and performance metrics for evaluation
âą Participate in Agile planning and contribute to functional testing when required
âą Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with solution design
Qualifications
Must Have:
âą 5+ years of business analysis experience on medium-sized IT projects
âą Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and cloud-native development
âą Expertise in requirements gathering, JAD sessions, and stakeholder facilitation
âą Experience developing context diagrams, use cases, process maps, and cost-benefit analyses
âą Ability to create systems diagrams and technical specifications for integrations
âą Deep knowledge of business modeling, non-functional requirements, and performance metrics
âą Proven experience with business case development and feasibility assessments
Nice to Have:
âš Experience with structured, object-oriented, and Agile methodologies
đ§ Ability to translate business/data needs into technical solutions
đ Familiarity with CASE tools, enterprise architecture, and change management
đ Knowledge of user interface design principles and accessibility standards (AODA)
đ§ Strong understanding of emerging IT trends and data modeling concepts
