Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 6 month contract in Toronto.
This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities
• Provides a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services with complex FHIR, backend SQL and diverse business, reporting and technological needs.
• Understanding of SDLC processes and ETL
• Leads and conducts business analysis on technical needs in such a way that I&IT solutions can be determined
• Develops sound processes for requirements gathering including but not limited to Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, interviews, data analysis.
• Conducts business modeling; use case modeling; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects
• Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies including Azure Cloud and Smile Clinical Data Repository (CDR) solution for FHIR messages
• Create and maintain detailed requirements, prioritizing parallel requirements items in accordance to the program goals and product needs.
• Collaborate and foster various relationship with MHA team, COE partners, clients and cross-functional technical team and vendors such as privacy, security, architecture and off-shore engineering team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of all requirements
• Ability to analyze data and complex problems and contribute to finding solutions.
• Analyze data and data quality to better understand all the data need, issues, and opportunities for improvements
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with MHA team, partners, clients, and leadership teams to ensure successful product launch and product updates as required. Ensure successful change management process.
• Ability to translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
• 7+ years experience with Health Care experience (Mental Health preferred)
• 7+ years experience with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources FHIR/ Health Level (HL7)
• 7+ years experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL)/Database
• 7+ years experience developing sound processes for requirements gathering including but not limited to Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, interviews, data analysis.
Desired Skills:
· Back-end development and reporting understanding
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
· A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
· Experience with a wide range of methods, tools and techniques for business analysis such as: business functional modelling, business event modelling, business process mapping
· Experience in structured, object oriented and agile methodologies for user requirements
· Experience developing performance measures for business analysis evaluation and subsequent follow-up
Required Skills:
· Strong Oral and written communication skills
· SQL
· FHIR knowledge experience.
