Responsibilities
- Requirement Elicitation: Conduct JAD sessions and discovery workshops with stakeholders to gather integration, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- System Specification: Translate business needs into detailed system specifications, data/field mappings, and CRUD matrices.
- Integration Design: Document integration specifications for cloud technologies (Spring Integration, Azure, IBM ACE) and legacy mainframe solutions.
- Process Modelling: Produce visual depictions of use cases, journey maps, and process flows, ensuring alignment with business architecture.
- Vendor Collaboration: Review vendor API documentation and conduct discovery sessions to evaluate the native capabilities of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), review test scenarios for requirement traceability, and assist the testing team in defect resolution.
- Project Gating: Support the architecture team in completing Enterprise Architecture artifacts and project gating documentation (checkpoints).
Qualifications
- Domain Expertise: Extensive knowledge of court business processes for Criminal, Family, and Civil lines of business.
- Technical Integration: Hands-on experience with Azure, Spring Integration, and IBM ACE; experience documenting integration for mainframe environments.
- Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, Iterative Agile, and Product Management delivery models.
- Design Tools: Experience using technical solution design and prototyping tools to facilitate stakeholder design sessions.
- Business Analysis Foundations: 8+ years of experience in BA roles; familiarity with BABOK concepts (certification is a major asset).
- Technical Documentation: Ability to create Logical/Physical Data Models, Data Dictionaries, and detailed Business Cases.
- Soft Skills: Superior negotiation and consensus-building skills, specifically when managing functional design issues between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
