Responsibilities
Requirements & Documentation: Lead and conduct business analysis to assess business problems and opportunities. Create comprehensive artifacts including project charters, business cases, user stories, and traceability matrices.
Facilitation: Schedule and lead Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, interviews, and workshops with senior stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define business rules and functional requirements.
Technical Design: Utilize Figma to create mockups and support user-centric website/form design. Translate requirements into technical specifications sufficient for Azure cloud environments.
Testing & Quality: Conduct unit and system testing to validate that IT solutions meet documented business needs. Ensure all deliverables align with Enterprise Architecture standards and Accessibility (AODA) regulations.
Agile Leadership: Facilitate product backlog grooming and manage the development of Epics and User Stories within Agile and Iterative project frameworks.
Process Improvement: Apply re-engineering concepts to promote business improvements through cost-effective and innovative service delivery approaches.
Financial Oversight: Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities while monitoring project progress and reporting on risks and issues to management.
Qualifications
Core Experience: 8+ years of dedicated experience in Business Analysis within large IT organizations.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with Azure cloud technologies, HTML, CSS, and UI/UX design tools like Figma.
Methodology Mastery: Expert knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative Agile.
Soft Skills: Superior facilitation, negotiation, and consultative skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations in highly political environments.
Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience in unit testing and system testing protocols.
Tools: Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio for process mapping.
