Responsibilities
- Requirements Lifecycle Management: Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and functional requirements. Translate these into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Process & Data Modeling: Create visual representations of business processes, including workflow diagrams, data models, and data flow diagrams (DFDs).
- Stakeholder Facilitation: Plan and lead workshops, interviews, and meetings to align expectations across diverse business units and technical groups.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform basic SQL queries to extract data, analyze relationships between data sources, and generate ad-hoc reports to provide management with actionable insights.
- Quality Assurance & UAT: Prepare test scenarios and test data. Support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase to ensure final deliverables meet high quality standards and business objectives.
- Documentation & Training: Assist in the creation of user guides, onboarding sessions, and training materials to support the adoption of modernized technical solutions.
- Project Support: Support project managers in risk identification, project planning, and the development of change management strategies to minimize operational disruption.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive business analysis experience within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Certifications:
- Mandatory/Preferred: CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA.
- Asset: PMI-ACP or Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
- Methodologies: Strong proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall environments, including a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Technical Skills: * Expert knowledge of process modeling, use case development, and requirements traceability.
- Ability to perform option analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and trend analysis.
- Understanding of system integration concepts and modern IT landscapes.
Tools: * Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT) and MS Visio.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence for requirements management.
- SQL proficiency for data querying.
