Responsibilities
Requirement Elicitation & Analysis: Lead and conduct comprehensive business and system analysis to identify problems and document requirements for effective solution design.
Complex Modeling: Execute high-level business modeling, including use case, conceptual and logical data modeling, and process/data flow modeling.
Detailed Specifications: Define business rules, non-functional requirements, screen specifications, and data migration requirements for assigned projects.
Lifecycle Management: Deliver documentation appropriate to various project phases, aligning with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Technical Consultation: Act as a bridge between Business Areas and IT Development/Testing teams to clarify requirements and translate them into actionable system specs.
BI & Cloud Integration: Support projects involving Business Intelligence tools and cloud-based technologies to enhance reporting and data accessibility.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, using tact and diplomacy to manage client needs and project expectations.
Qualifications
Core Experience: 10+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst on large, complex, and mission-critical IT applications.
Modeling Expertise: Demonstrated mastery of business modeling, use case surveys, and both conceptual and logical data modeling.
Technical Skills: Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Cognos and Microsoft PowerApps (Power BI). Knowledge of Cloud technology is a significant asset.
Methodologies: Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall project management environments. Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture artifacts and technical documentation standards within a Company context.
Soft Skills: Excellent critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and multitasking abilities with a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines.
