Responsibilities
equirement Management: Lead the elicitation, analysis, specification, and validation of business and functional requirements using tools like Azure DevOps and Jira.
Workshop Facilitation: Lead Joint Application Design (JAD) and Sprint sessions to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical vendors.
Process & Data Modeling: Create "as-is" and "future-state" process maps, data models (conceptual and logical), and user stories.
Technical Support: Support development and testing teams by reviewing design documents, managing defect logs in HP ALM, and defining User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans.
Strategic Documentation: Develop business cases, feasibility studies, project scoping documents, and work estimates.
Architecture Compliance: Prepare technical artifacts for enterprise architecture reviews, ensuring alignment with the Zachman framework and governance requirements.
Legacy Transformation: Support the modernization of legacy mainframe applications and the implementation of COTS solutions such as Oracle Siebel.
Qualifications
Core Experience: 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant experience in large, integrated mainframe and mid-tier environments.
Methodologies: Expert knowledge of the SDLC, including Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative delivery models.
Technical Proficiency: Proven ability to document complex deliverables such as Requirements Traceability Matrices, System Specifications, and UML models.
Tool Expertise: Skilled in Azure DevOps, Jira, HP ALM (Quality Center), and PowerDesigner.
Public Sector Knowledge: Prior experience with public sector architecture, digital service standards, and governance processes is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
