Responsibilities
- Lead functional and detailed solution design sessions with stakeholders to document business and technical requirements, including the creation of Business Cases and Architecture Documentation.
- Apply Scrum and Kanban methodologies to manage project workflows, acting as a Scrum Master where required to facilitate delivery.
- Provide first-level triaging support to identify design gaps during testing cycles and production; negotiate and resolve complex technical issues for production readiness.
- Drive the creation of Test Plans, Test Cases, and Traceability Matrices, taking a leadership role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
- Analyze legacy system processes and map them to future-state architectures, ensuring seamless data migration and system integration.
- Develop production-ready documentation, including support models, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and operational checklists.
- Liaise with business sponsors and SMEs to analyze complex problems, providing leadership through presentation materials, briefing notes, and workshops.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience as an IT Business Analyst supporting medium to large-scale enterprise projects.
- Proven track record applying Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and using project tracking tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- 7+ years of experience in functional design, solution architecture, and triaging design gaps with technical SMEs.
- Strong experience working with large-scale system implementations and case management solutions.
- Expert ability to create Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Traceability Matrices, and Enterprise Architecture artifacts.
- Exceptional negotiation, facilitation, and interview skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within large-scale public sector organizations or complex multi-tier organizational structures is highly valued.
